BYK-A 525

BYK A 525 is a defoamer/air release agent that can be used in formulations for potting compounds, sealants and adhesives. It contains silicone. BYK A 525 prevents foam and bubble formation during manufacturing and application of materials. It demonstrates excellent air release characteristics in mineral-filled systems used in advanced material formulations. BYK A 525 additionally improves wetting of quartz and glass fibers used as reinforcements in advanced composite materials. BYK A 525 acts as a defoamer/air release agent during production and application of advanced material formulations. It also reduces surface tension, improves leveling and wetting and prevents Bénard cell formation in advanced material coatings and composites.
