BYK-C 8000

BYK C 8000 is a reactive polymeric coupling agent that can be used as an adhesion promoter in radical curing systems. BYK C 8000 improves the mechanical properties such as flexural strength, compressive strength and the E modulus of materials by up to 50%. As an additive, BYK C 8000 acts as an adhesion promoter on substrates like metal and glass, substantially improving adhesion in solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings. BYK C 8000 is recommended for use in reactive acrylate systems, baking coatings and UV systems. When used between 0.1-0.3% in materials, BYK C 8000 enhances the mechanical properties and adhesion of the material to substrates. BYK C 8000 is suitable for use in applications that require high performance materials with improved mechanical properties and adhesion characteristics.
