Natrosol™ 250 KR by Ashland Specialty Chemical is a water soluble hydroxyethylcellulose. Treated to delay hydration of the particles. Offers compatibility with other materials, such as emulsion polymers, natural and synthetic gums, emulsifiers, defoamers. Used as nonionic thickener, water retention aid and rheology modifier in water-based adhesives. Imparts very good flow properties. Performs in the emulsion and suspension polymerization of many vinyl polymers. Applications of Natrosol™ 250 KR include tile, wallpaper, latex and plywood adhesives.
