Luzenac G40 - Natural Talc has been specially developed as food additives. It has a lamellar structure and is physically and chemically inert. It is an effective surfacing, finishing and texturing agent in chewing gum. In gum base talc acts as a filler. Imerys talcs are ideal anti-stick and surface finishing agents in powdered foodstuffs, seasonings, confectionery, cheese and processed meats. Luzenac G40 has a median particle size of 9.3 - 16.8 µm, and a tapped density of 0.90 g/cm3.
