Description
PREFERENZ® S 1000 is an alkaline alpha-amylase for use in powder laundry detergents. PREFERENZ® S 1000 is designed for maximum stability, even in bleach containing formulations, to boost cleaning performance on tough starch based soils. PREFERENZ® S 1000 is based on ENZOGUARD® granulation technology of IFF that brings high storage stability and dissolution speed, excellent distribution properties and safety to work with. Starches are present in many natural and processed foods, such as puddings, custards, soups, sauces, gravies, pie fillings, and salad dressings, as well as noodles and pastas. PREFERENZ® S 1000 hydrolyzes α-1,4-glycosidic bonds in starch molecules to produce smaller, water-soluble oligosaccharides that are then removed by the wash liquor.
