DELVO-GUARD 303 DSF, 5U is a protective culture selected for its acidification properties and bioprotective effects. DELVO-GUARD 303 DSF, 5U provides control of spoilage microorganisms without compromising texture or taste. It allows for production of fermented foods when yeast and molds are a concern. DELVO-GUARD 303 DSF, 5U consists of safe, QPS listed bacteria that are GRAS. It acidifies products similarly to references while inhibiting fungi. DELVO-GUARD 303 DSF, 5U maintains acidity during shelf life comparable to preservatives but without their taste. It is suitable for use in fermented foods requiring bioprotection without off-flavors.
