HETRON F 240 TFE

HETRON F 240 TFE is a flame retardant resin suitable for contact moulding, spray up and cold press applications. HETRON F 240 TFE is a white pigmented, pre-accelerated, thixotropic resin based on orthophtalic unsaturated polyester containing halogens and antimony trioxide. It provides very good flame retardancy and low smoke toxicity. HETRON F 240 TFE resin contains neither chlorine nor nitrogen. Some key benefits of using HETRON F 240 TFE in advanced materials include its ability to achieve M2 rating in Epiradiator testing (NFP 92-501) and F2 rating in smoke testing (NFF 16-101), V0 rating in the UL 94 flame test and S4-SR1-ST2 in DIN 5510-2 fire test, making finished materials highly flame resistant and low smoke emitting particularly recommended to be used in construction (e.g. sanitary) and transport (trains underground / subway).
